On January 16–18, 2018, an international conference – Russia and the World – will be held within the frameworks of the Gaidar Forum-2018.
The Gaidar Forum is a major annual international scientific event in Russia on economy attended by prominent figures in the global economy, Nobel laureates, renowned professors of the leading universities (Harvard, Stanford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other) and representatives of the Russian and foreign political elite. The Gaidar Forum has been held since 2010 in honor of Yegor Gaidar, an outstanding researcher and economist who was the architect of the Russian reforms in the early 1990s.
The Forum is open to all those who determine the global world order by their achievements in the economic science and have influence on the social and economic development of different regions and states.
The Forum’s debates are traditionally focused on the most topical current issues. A particular attention is attached to matters related to comprehension of Russia’s position and strategic role in the world.
The Gaidar Forum was called the business event of the year and received the Moscow Times Awards – 2013. The Forum is among the top most quoted economic conferences in Russia. The Financial Times daily included the Gaidar Forum in the top-5 international business events.
